So I have to give myself a mulligan…I drafted Chapter 6 and then realized I had completely left out a delicious new character, Séraphine. I have been working on this novel for eight years and its gone through many iterations. Last fall I had a crisis of sorts and revamped the whole thing, sort of. It’s a long boring story that only writers would be interested in but thankfully out of this period sprung Séraphine, who I think will be great fun to write. So having posted my error I puzzled on what to do and then, having determined that most of writing is rewriting, thought I would give my readers a front seat at the process. So here is Chapter 6, rewritten and hopefully, even better. Apologies in advance…Jenny
